Plenty of issues and character. Typical binding deterioration as seen on all Gretsches but mostly still attached. Plastic inserts installed in f-holes which hide serial number, could be removed. Amateur repair to loose wings of headstock with dowells and some slight separation. Possibly original frets show moderate wear. Heel crack professionally repaired and appears to be stable without touch up. Early Filtertrons with no patent number or applied for stamp. Plays really good and sounds very good. Missing one original strap button, one screw at tailpiece to attatch strap. Comes with attached strap. Previous owner Wayne Gray has initials in heel cap and name on headstock. Tuners are changed to Grovers, original holes not filled. Grovers are pat pending. Comes with original gray hard case and various case findings.
