1972 Rickenbacker 4001 in Fireglo finish. 100% original example. Pots and serial number date to 1972. Features checkerboard binding, neck-thru construction, maple body, bound rosewood fingerboard, full crush inlays (shark fin) that go to the end of the fretboard, Ric-O-Sound wiring, "hi-gain" pickup in the bridge, and a toaster pickup in the neck! The bass plays amazingly well.

The neck is butter, with low playing action down the length of the fretboard. The pickups are strong, full, and pure Rickenbacker in tone: sounds amazing! There's some gap lines and minor cracks in sections the binding, but nothing is crumbling, and it's all fully intact. OHSC!
