From the collection of Scott Thurston of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers. Scott used this guitar frequently on stage and in the studio with The Heartbreakers. Refinished in a Shoreline-esque Gold. Moderate play wear with various dings and dents to top. Pick guard is cracked at treble side horn as well as right above the neck pickup. Back shows some dings as well with some buckle rash to boot. Neck date "2 NOV 63 B". Volume pot has been replaced and wired with treble bleed, original pickups, original tone pots date to late 1963. Replaced tuners, professionally re-fretted, show minimal wear. Action is great on this guitar with room to adjust to your liking. Comes with non original 80's tweed Fender hard case.
