Circa 1969 Fender Telecaster refinished in original Lake Placid Blue by J.W. Black (former Fender CS Masterbuilder). 
 
Upon arrival to the shop, the original LPB finish had been stripped but some remained visible inside the pickup/control/neck cavities. We sent the guitar to J.W. Black, who masterfully restored it to its former glory with a killer late 60's Lake Placid Blue. He also re-fretted and re-finished the fingerboard only, installed and cut a new nut, potted the original bridge pickup and replaced the pickup switch with a 70's era switch. This guitar is ready for action with supreme playability and sound, all in such a lightweight guitar! 
 
Shows light checking from under coat previous to restoration. Finish has been very lightly aged with various dings and scrapes; very tastefully done. Maple cap Neck date 3 DEC 68B. Pots are original with the only readable pot dating to 1966. Bridge pickup is original; non-original neck pickup was replaced with an era correct Fender Tele neck pickup. Comes with original black logo Fender case and original frets/nut.
