1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in none more black. In very good cosmetic condition and excellent playing condition. Factory 2nd that shows remarkably little play wear for a guitar that was played and taken care of for 53 years. Some dings and minor scratches to the finish on the front and back of body. Some buckle rash on the back. Straight finish check line on the lower bout running along the body below, between, and above the bridge pickup's control knobs. Finish has slightly sunk in on sides revealing pancake body. Binding looks great except for a few blemishes. Neck shows a little play wear in the finish along the binding on the bass side and some finish chipping along the headstock veneer on both bass and treble sides near nut. Parts, pots, wiring, frets and nut appear to be all original. No evidence of breaks, repairs, or modifications. Patent number pickups sound incredible. Original fretless wonder frets and ebony fingerboard show minimal wear. Truss rod functioning properly. Guitar is set up with 9s for super slinky, easy playing. Set up with slight relief in the neck. It plays great and sounds incredible. Comes with OHSC.
