Unique ES-300 that was converted to 12-string in 1966 by renowned luthier Don E. Teeter. Neck, fret board and all pearl inlay was done by hand by Don. He left a note on the inside of the guitar denoting all modifications as well as identifying the guitar as a 1942 model, but the pickup being in the neck position started in 1946 so we've identified it as such. Replacement DeArmond pickup, volume pot replaced with 1965 CTS. Tone pot has tons of corrosion and is difficult to identify. Bridge, tailpiece, knobs all replaced. Body re-finished to black and neck painted to match. Body is in great shape with no cracks or areas in need of repair.
 
Playability is excellent up and down the neck; 1 15/16" nut width paired with comfortable D neck. Neck is dead straight and truss rod is functioning correctly. Frets show moderate wear primarily in first position. All inlay/binding is in great condition. The DeArmond pickup sounds fantastic and really brings out the best of this guitar. Comes with aftermarket hardshell case.
